How We Started
Long Island Moonstar was born out of frustration with unreliable car services and unpredictable rideshare apps. Our founder, a Long Island native, spent years watching neighbors miss flights, wait endlessly for no-shows, and pay surge prices at the worst moments. He knew there had to be a better way.
Starting with a single vehicle and a commitment to always showing up on time, Li Moonstar grew through word of mouth — one satisfied customer at a time. Today we operate a modern fleet serving all of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, but our values haven't changed: show up, be professional, and treat every passenger like family.
